Jared Hutchings

Jared, 31, is the Founding Managing Director of the University Venture Fund, a new type of venture fund that combines university talent and traditional venture capital. The innovative nature of the fund was featured in The Wall Street Journal, the Venture Capital Journal, and USA Today. He developed a network of key venture syndicate partners, and led UVF to a series of 14 investments in technology companies. Jared is also responsible for starting the national "University Venture Summit", an annual event hosting participants from more than 30 universities. He received a BS in Finance from the University of Utah. Jared sits on the board of directors of CompletexRM.
